Chelsey and Cody Portland, OR Engagement Photography With Two Waterfalls

We hiked up a mile to the upper waterfall in the dark of the pre-sunset morning. The flashlights on our cell phones offering us the only guidance as we trekked over rocks, tree roots and "watched the ledge" (because there is no protective rail the majority time that you are escalating). The sun's light made it's presence just as we reached our starting destination. The entire waterfall all to ourselves, we caught our breath and stared in awe at the glory that is nature. What is it about waterfalls that is so magical?

Chelsey and Cody kept warm together and we laughed the entire session as we adventured about Latourell Falls on the Oregon Columbia River Gorge. We made our way down from the upper falls to head to the lower falls and stopped multiple times along the way for some gorgeous engagement photos that I am officially obsessed with.

Chelsey's dress was a perfect choice, the way the train floated as she walked, and blew so elegantly with the natural breeze of crashing water, it added an extra romantic feel (as if they needed it - these two are so genuinely in love, and it's easy to see from their photos).

I cannot wait for their wedding in July, but at least we have these to look at and remember fondly until then.
