inspired fall engagement & proposal

Fall is the most beautiful time of the year ((at least in my humble opinion)) and I know many of you agree. Even on days where storm clouds thickly blanket the entire sky and sessions of hard rain come pouring down intermittently, it is still so stunning to gaze upon. Color schemes that are unparalleled at any other time of year, it was truly evident during this chilly October engagement inspired shoot in Columbus, OH.

Brittany & David were darling together and capturing their love was just about effortless outside of maneuvering around the weather and wetness everywhere.

Contributions were made by two other very talented vendors, Maria Lynn Floral provided an incredibly stunning fall bouquet that I still cannot stop swooning about, and don't think I ever will. Makeup was done by the lovely Melaina Cimini who I absolutely adore working with and look forward to seeing what she does with all those skills in the coming years.

I hope to be able to return to this location again in the spring, summer and fall of this year to watch the progression of growth in the nature surrounding the area. It was small in size, but had SO MUCH to work with, it is definitely one of my favorite spots to photograph in Columbus, OH - and perhaps my favorite outdoor portrait session of the year!
